Geoff Schmidt is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Apollo GraphQL, where he is responsible for the expansion of Apollo’s open source and commercial GraphQL technologies, as well as the impact and innovation they deliver to customers globally. He also co-created GraphQL federation, the industry standard for enterprise API platforms. Prior to Apollo, Geoff was the co-founder of Meteor Development Group and co-creator of Meteor.js, which, under his leadership, grew to become one of the most popular open-source projects in the world for developing full-stack web apps with JavaScript. Geoff is also the creator of Monument, an affordable live/work art event space in downtown San Francisco, where he lives with his family.
