He also writes a regular column in Forbes about the big picture of artificial intelligence. Rob previously was a VC at Highland Capital Partners, where he led Highland's AI investing efforts. Before becoming a venture capitalist, Rob spent many years in the world of autonomous vehicles. He helped lead the strategy team at Zoox, an autonomous vehicle startup acquired by Amazon for $1.3 billion.
